FFC Landscape Architects is an award winning Practice specialising in Landscape Architecture and Garden Design, with over 30 years experience and a design flair that has delighted many clients across the country.

As Professional Consultants, we are experienced in working as part of multi-disciplinary Design Teams as well as on our own as Main Consultants to our Clients.

FFC Landscape Architects aim to offer value for money services with a high design flair and skill. The Practice has a sound knowledge of construction, from a dual qualification in Building and Architecture, and places great emphasis on clear concise drawings and documentation, and on site inspection to ensure high standards.

The Practice was founded by Francis Colella DipLA CMLI in 1986, following the completion of a two year commission with the Design Co-ordination Team at the Stoke-on-Trent National Garden Festival.

Previously, Mr Colella had been employed with major Midlands Practices including Percy Thomas Partnership and Peter Hing and Jones. Early employment was gained with an eminent Architects’ Practice in Dudley.

The Practice of FFC Landscape Architects is a highly professional and dedicated team based in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, and offers landscape design services throughout Staffordshire, Solihull, the West Midlands, Potteries and North West, with several recent projects being undertaken in Europe.

The Principal is a Chartered member of the Landscape Institute and carries full Professional Indemnity Insurance.

The Practice has won several local and major awards and has been associated with many high profile projects as well as acting as a sub-consultant to other Architectural and Landscape Practices. Specialist work includes arboriculture surveys to BS 5837, Garden design, visual impact evaluation and historic garden restoration.

Our Practice was established in Staffordshire over 30 years ago, and now has an additional office in Solihull for our clients accessibility.

While some projects are charged on a time basis, we are able, from experience, to provide most clients with a firm lump sum fee at the inception of a project.

On commercial projects the Landscape Institute provides fee scale guidance against which we are often able to offer significant savings.

Expert Witness Services are also available to parties in disputes and these can often lead to presenting our findings in court. Our services have also been recommended to Clients by Trading Standards Officers where we have been able to provide an expert view to assist resolution of disputes.

As Professional Landscape Consultants, we offer a service aimed at achieving the very best from your garden, irrespective of its shape, size or aspect.

Your Design will be prepared by an award winning Landscape Architect who will visit you initially to discuss your ideas, survey your Garden and will then produce a sketch design for your approval.

Ideas plans are offered as an initial service which can be extended to include construction plans, planting plans and maintenance guides.

Depending upon your requirements, plans can be produced for DIY projects or for construction by a Landscape Contractor. A full Design Consultancy Service is also available for large gardens and commercial projects.
