About PROGRESSIVE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENTS LTD

PPD Grease Traps Ltd offers grease traps for catering waste for both commercial and domestic purposes in the United Kingdom. We design, develop, and manufacture high-quality separators that capture and treat fats, oils, waste, and grease produced during cooking and food preparation. Whether you need a domestic, commercial, or underground grease trap, or a specialist filtertrap, we have a solution for you. Our designs are innovative and we offer a wide range of sizes, from 10 to 5000 meals per day. We also provide several dosing systems solutions.

There are several reasons why you should choose us. Firstly, we specialize in grease traps for both domestic and commercial kitchens. With years of experience in the industry, we can help you achieve optimal results in grease treatment systems. We offer our services throughout the UK and have an experienced team. Our products are also innovative and compliant with EN1825 standards.

We are known for our high flow rate solutions, constantly innovating and designing separator solutions for various industries and waste types. Our products are fully tested to comply with the BS-EN1825 British and European Grease Trap Testing Standard, and our Lamina filtertraps feature lamina flow coalescing filter, positive trapping, and separate sediment trap.

For domestic kitchens, we offer grease traps that prevent drains from getting blocked by grease. We have two sizes available, including stainless steel grease traps, and our grease traps are suitable for households with 10 to 20 meals per day. We also have automatic biofluid dosing or soluble biosachet systems, and our grease traps are manufactured from tough polyethylene with an expected life of over 25 years.

For commercial kitchens, our grease traps are suitable for floor-mounting inside the kitchen. We also have stainless steel grease traps available in five sizes, as well as commercial kitchen biomass grease traps. These traps are suitable for restaurants catering for 50 to 400 meals per day. Similar to our domestic kitchen grease traps, they also feature automatic biofluid dosing or soluble biosachet systems.

For installations below ground, we offer underground biomass grease traps that separate, trap, and treat cooking fats, oils, waste, and greases, protecting drains and the environment. These traps are connected to the main drain line and come in sizes ranging from 100 to 5,000 meals per day. They also have automatic biofluid dosing or slow-release biosock systems. As for construction, they are manufactured from super-strong stainless fiberglass with an expected life of over 25 years.

We also offer manually-emptied Lamina filtertraps that are highly efficient in separating grease. These traps, tested to EN1825 standards, are emptied manually using a mechanical hoist. They come in sizes from 80 to 450 meals per day and feature lamina flow, coalescing filter, and positive trapping.

Lastly, we have tanker-emptied biomass grease traps designed for infrequent emptying by suction tanker. These traps are suitable for sites with a high-flow rate, such as food processing factories, hospitals, and prisons. They come in sizes ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 meals per day and feature lamina flow, coalescing filter, positive trapping, and separate sediment trap.
