W McGovern & Co Ltd is a company with a rich history and reputation. It was founded in 1949 by husband and wife William and Connie McGovern. However, change is inevitable, and with change comes innovation. We are particularly excited about the innovative changes happening currently.
A fundamental shift took place when Alpaca, an investment firm based in Leeds, Yorkshire, acquired our business in 2020. With over 70 years of heritage, experience, and trading under our belts, this move was made to help us look to the future and enhance our illustrious past.
